Chicago Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore has placed his five-bedroom, 9,757-square-foot mansion in Charlotte, N.C. on the market for $5 million.
Moore, 27, started his career with the Carolina Panthers before he was traded to the Bears last year.
Situated on 3.9 acres on Lake Wylie, Moore’s house has 5-1/2 bathrooms, an open floor plan, a pivoting front door, a great room with retractable doors, a screened balcony overlooking the lake and a kitchen with backlit quartzite countertops and an entertaining bar.
Other features include a primary bedroom suite with a fireplace, a private walkout balcony and recently installed custom closets and upgraded lighting, plus a bathroom with a soaking tub, a double-entry shower and custom backlit quartzite countertops. The mansion also has a scullery, a recreational room, a bonus room, a second laundry room and a lower level with a large great room, bonus spaces, a home gym, a theater room and a lakeside garage.
Outside on the property are a pool and an in-ground trampoline. The property overlooks Lake Wylie, a man-made lake on the border of North Carolina and South Carolina.
Records show that Moore’s Land of Dreams Trust paid $5 million for the mansion in June 2022, which at that time was newly built.
As Elite Street reported last year, Moore sold a five-bedroom, 4,498-square-foot house in Charlotte for $1.3765 million in May 2023.
