Chicago Bulls guard Jevon Carter sells West Loop condo for $983,000

Chicago Bulls guard Jevon Carter in late January sold his three-bedroom, 2,535-square-foot condominium on the eighth floor of a West Loop high-rise for $983,000 — $18,000 more than he had paid for it a year and a half earlier.

A Proviso East alumnus, Carter, 29, has been with the Bulls since signing a three-year, $20 million contract with the team in July 2023.

Carter continues to own a five-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot town home in a gated community in West Town that he purchased for $1.5 million in September 2024.

In the West Loop, the eighth-floor condo that Carter recently unloaded is in the Skybridge high-rise, and it sold for above his asking price. Carter first listed it in November for $974,900, and after he found a buyer in late January, the two sides proceeded with a quick closing.

Features in the condo that Carter sold include 2-1/2 bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, wraparound city views, hardwood floors, a custom built-in entertainment center, a primary bedroom suite with a balcony and a large custom walk-in closet, a separate dining room, a living room with a balcony, and a kitchen with a large island, a wine refrigerator and stainless steel appliances.

Carter bought the condo in July 2023 for $965,000.

The condo had a $15,718 property tax bill in the 2023 tax year. It also has a $16,980-a-year building assessment fee.

Carter’s listing agent, Paul Gorney of eXp Realty, could not be reached for comment.  Gorney also represented Carter in his $1.5 million purchase in September of the 3,500-square-foot town home in the gated West Town community.
