Liberty Bible Church: 824 N. Calumet Ave. — Liberty Bible Church will have a GriefShare event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Monday until June 10. The event is for those grieving the death of a family member or friend. The cost of GriefShare is $20, and includes a workbook. To register or learn more, email ppica0756@gmail.com. Liberty Bible Church will have “InterGen Sunday” from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 26. “InterGen” or Intergenerational Sundays allow parents and children to worship together. Kids ministry for kindergarten through fifth grade will be suspended on InterGen Sundays so kids can join their parents in worship. Childcare is provided for ages 0-5. State Street Community Church: 209 State Street — La Porte State Street Community Church will host a Business Made Social networking event for business people beginning at 7:30 a.m. May 21. Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine: 5755 Pennsylvania St. — The seventh annual pilgrimage of Polish truckers and RV’s will begin with a Holy Mass in Polish at 12 p.m. June 9. The mass will be followed by the Fatima Devotion, the blessing of the trucks and RV’s and a picnic on the shrine grounds. There will also be a competition for “Most Beautiful Truck” around 11:30 a.m., with trophies awarded to top participants. Founders Square Park: 6300 Main St. — There will be a “Light the Way — Worship in the Park” from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. May 18. Norma S. Williams, published author and women’s ministry leader, will host the event and will be joined with worship from Valparaiso Baptist Church, Hobart Assembly, The Hope Collective and Living Hope Church. All men are welcome to join the Valparaiso Baptist Church’s “Forged Men’s Ministry,” from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. May 18 for fellowship.
