During Palatine’s State of the Village address, Village Manager Reid Ottesen and Mayor Jim Schwantz said they see the Bears as far from being a done deal and said Palatine could see a significant impact on its roads, especially Northwest Highway. They also said a win by Mayor Paul Vallas could mean Chicago doubles down on trying to keep them in the city.
