State health officials today reported 136,998 more doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered statewide since Friday. Additionally, 9,126 new cases of the disease were diagnosed and another 30 deaths were reported over the past three days as well, Illinois Department of Public Health officials said. More than 4,000 of those cases were reported Saturday, the first time the state has had that many new cases of the virus in one day since early April.
