CPD: 2 men stabbed on Loop CTA platform Thursday night

Two men on a Loop CTA platform were stabbed Thursday night, according to Chicago police.

Around 10:30 p.m. in the 100 block of West Lake Street, a 51-year-old man and another man around 30 years old were in an argument with a third man, police said.

The third man pulled out “a sharp object and struck both victims before fleeing the scene,” according to the Chicago Police Department.

Police said the 51-year-old received a laceration on his face and was listed in serious condition. The second victim was wounded in the chest and listed in serious condition. Both were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

No one was in custody and area detectives were investigating Friday morning, according to police.
