The Cubs made two trades Monday, adding third baseman Jeimer Candelario from Washington and right-hander reliever Jose Cuas from Kansas City. But while maneuvering ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline, the Cubs could have their eyes on MLB’s biggest prize in free-agency this winter.
