Jon Thompson, a Bartlett High School freshman, is hoping his small role in his school’s musical makes a big impact. The Elgin teen has a form of Usher’s Syndrome; he is profoundly deaf, has limited peripheral vision and uses a cane to navigate the hallways at school.
