DePaul snaps a 39-game regular-season Big East skid with a 73-68 win over Georgetown

WASHINGTON — CJ Gunn had 17 points, helping DePaul end a 39-game regular-season Big East losing streak Friday night with a 73-68 win over Georgetown.

The Blue Demons’ last conference win came on Jan. 18, 2023, against No. 8 Xavier, and their last Big East road win was on Feb. 24, 2022.

Layden Blocker scored 14 points, including the final six for DePaul (10-9, 1-7), which snapped a five-game skid.

Drew Fielder and Malik had 19 points each for the Hoyas (12-6, 3-4).
