Picking up a few months after “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange hops on the multiverse bandwagon in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” This kitchen-sink movie is centered on an entirely new and underdeveloped character — America Chavez — a teen who has the power to travel the multiverse but doesn’t quite know how to control it.
