A 26-year-old Dolton man was shot and killed in the village recently, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Jalen Thomas was shot in the back at or outside his residence in the 14700 block of Clark Street and died at 4:15 a.m. April 21 at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey.
His death was ruled a homicide. Additional information was not available from Dolton police.
