A 30-year-old woman was fatally struck by a vehicle driven by someone she was arguing with inside a parking on 79th Street, cops said.
Shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday, a witness saw the woman arguing with someone inside a parking lot in the first block of West 79th Street in the Grand Crossing neighborhood.
The person she was arguing with got into a black sedan and struck the woman before fleeing the scene, police said.
The woman suffered blunt force trauma to the head and body, and was taken in critical condition to UChicago Medicine where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
