An elderly Lakemoor woman has died after a weekend two-car crash, according to the Lake County Coroner’s Office.
Judith Was, 85, died at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where she was brought following the collision.
According to authorities, the crash happened at about 9:20 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Sullivan Lake Road and Illinois Route 120. Lakemoor police and Wauconda firefighters responded to the crash and transported Was, who was driving one of the vehicles.
Was died from complications of the injuries she suffered in the crash, the coroner’s office said.
Information about the other driver was not immediately available. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Lakemoor police.
