Election Day 2024 live results: Constitutional amendment on the ballot in Indiana

A question on the ballot this Election Day asks Indiana residents if they want to revise the order of succession for governor.

It asks voters:

Shall the Constitution of the State of Indiana be amended to remove the state superintendent of public instruction from the list of officeholders who shall discharge the powers and duties of the governor if the office of the governor and lieutenant governor are both vacant?

Most polls in the state close at 6 p.m. Eastern — the earliest closing time in the country. Votes will be counted in contested races after all polls close in Indiana at 7 p.m. Eastern. See statewide election results here.
