National Weather Service officials are expecting a breezy Tuesday with showers and temperatures in the mid 60s.
Officials said there is an 80 percent chance of rain Tuesday along with breezy conditions with a south wind blowing around 25 mph with wind gusts up to 45 mph.
Tuesday night there is a 30 percent chance of showers before 9 p.m. when temperatures are expected to drop to the mid 40s. Winds are expected to shift to the southwest at about 20 to 25 mph before becoming northwest between 10 to 15 mph after midnight, officials said. Overnight there is a chance wind gust could reach up to 35 mph, officials said.
Current morning conditions at O’Hare International Airport is light rain at 65 degrees, and farther south at Midway Airport conditions temperatures are similar with overcast.
