Chicago police are investigating a string of armed robberies on the Southwest Side early Monday morning.
Two men with guns demanded 11 victims’ belongings in four separate attacks within 30 minutes of each other, authorities said. The victims ranging in age from 17 to 57 were ordered to lie on the ground while the armed men went through their pockets and bags, police said. No injuries were reported.
Police have not confirmed if the armed robberies, which occurred in the New City and Brighton Park neighborhoods, are connected but the men fled each scene in a dark-colored SUV. No one is in custody yet, police said.
