ECC student leaders chosen to serve in 2024-25 academic year
Three Elgin Community College student leaders have been elected to represent the student body in the 2024-25 academic year.
Jess Heiser, of St. Charles, will be the student trustee to the ECC Board of Trustees, according to a college news release. Seth Hernandez, of South Elgin, will be the student body government president and executive vice president is Brianna Zlotow, of Hanover Park.
“I decided to run for student trustee because I saw that a lot of people’s voices weren’t being represented, one of those being people with disabilities,” Heiser said in a news release.
Hernandez said he wants to help show students the resources available to them so they don’t have to navigate college alone.
