The family of a 7-year-old boy from Little Village, who drowned in the Chicago River last year after the motorboat he was in overturned, filed a lawsuit Thursday against the companies that owned a tugboat and barge that the lawsuits alleges caused the wakes that ultimately turned over the boat, killing the boy.
