The Illinois Council for Exceptional Children has selected Field Middle School students Alfonso Hernandez Jr. and Christian Martinez for the Yes I Can Award. The award honors and celebrates the achievements of youth with exceptionalities to encourage individuals to seek their highest potential and to increase public awareness of the abilities, aspirations, and personal qualities of those with disabilities.
