Towns across the Fox Valley have announced their official trick-or-treat times for Halloween.
All official trick-or-treat hours are for Thursday.
In Aurora, the official hours for trick-or-treating are 4 to 7 p.m.
In addition, the city is inviting residents to the eighth annual Aurora City Hall Halloween event from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Wilder Park, 350 N. River St.
At the event, more than 20 city departments will be giving away candy. The event will also feature giveaways, music and more, city officials said.
In other towns in the Fox Valley, official hours for trick-or-treating on Thursday are 3 to 7 p.m. in Geneva, 3 to 7 p.m. in Batavia, 3 to 7 p.m. in St. Charles, 4 to 8 p.m. in North Aurora, 4 to 7:30 p.m. in Montgomery, 4 to 7 p.m. in Sugar Grove, 3:30 to 8 p.m. in Oswego, 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Plano, 4 to 8 p.m. in Elburn and 4 to 7 p.m. in Yorkville.
