The Senate debated a challenge by a handful of GOP lawmakers to the 11 electoral votes that Arizona cast for Biden Wednesday during a procedural reading of the electoral votes in Congress. Congress seemed certain to reject all the challenges and formally affirm Biden’s victory, but was halted by an angry mob of Trump supporters who broke into the Capitol building. All 50 states have certified the electoral votes.
