CHICAGO (AP) – Grain futures were higher on Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Mar. advanced 87 cents at $9.7750 a bushel; Mar. corn rose 47.25 cents at $7.3625 a bushel; Mar. oats was up 39.75 cents at $7.3225 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans gained 50.25 cents at $16.90 a bushel. Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Apr. live cattle was up 1.30 cents at $1.4170 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle gained 2.47 cents at $1.5675 a pound; Apr. lean hogs rose 1.68 cents at $1.0520 a pound.
