Wheat for May advanced 55.50 cents at $11.1925 a bushel; May corn was up 14.50 cents at $7.5625 a bushel, May oats gained 32 cents at $7.27 a bushel; while May soybeans rose 23 cents at $16.91 a bushel. Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Apr. live cattle was off .45 cent at $1.4005 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle fell .90 cent at $1.5610 a pound; while Apr. lean hogs rose 1.22 cents at $1.0062 a pound.
