CHICAGO (AP) – Grain futures were lower on Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Mar. was lost 14 cents at $6.4725 a bushel; Mar. corn fell 9.75 cents at $5.1575 a bushel; Mar. oats was off 4.50 cents at $3.57 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans declined 20.50 cents at $13.53 a bushel. Beef and pork were higher on the on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Feb. live cattle gained 1.75 cents at $1.1590 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle rose 1.58 cents at $1.3720 a pound; Feb. lean hogs was up .35 cent at .6922 cents a pound.
