Glenbrook North student Chloe Gutierrez won a scholarship from George W. Benjamin American Legion Post 791 in Northbrook based on her essay below, which answered the question: “Abraham Lincoln once said ‘Freedom is the last, best hope of Earth.’ What does that mean to you.”
