Hawks vs. Bulls prediction

The Bulls won two of their final three games, with their lone defeat coming in overtime against the New York Knicks in the regular-season finale on Sunday.

The Hawks closed the season with six consecutive defeats, capped off by a 157-115 blowout loss to the Indiana Pacers.

Chicago captured two of three regular-season matchups with Atlanta. The Bulls held off the Hawks at home after Christmas, 118-113, followed by a 136-126 triumph in Atlanta in mid-February.

The Hawks broke through in the final meeting earlier this month, 113-101, in Chicago as two-point underdogs. The Bulls were coming off a huge win at Minnesota the night before, so the letdown narrative was present.

Chicago lost five of its last seven games in the home favorite role, which included embarrassing defeats to Detroit, Washington and Toronto.

DeMar DeRozan led the Bulls in the three contests against Atlanta this season, averaging 28.3 points per game. Hawks guard Trae Young put up 20 points per game in two meetings with Chicago; he missed one game because of an injury.

Hawks vs. Bulls pick

The underdog in this series has covered in all three matchups this season, while Atlanta owns an impressive 3-0 record in the last two play-in tournaments.

We’ll grab the points with Hawks to cover against the Bulls on Wednesday.

  • Pick: Hawks +3.5 (-115 at BetMGM)
