The Rev. John “Jack” Dewes, who served at five suburban parishes over the course of 56 years but built his legacy at St. Anne Catholic Church in Barrington, died Nov. 13. He was 92. “Father Jack had, as many have described, the ‘heart of a shepherd,'” a former parishioner said.
