Elgin-based Heritage-Crystal Clean Inc. said it has joined forces with Ohio-based Battellewill to tackle one of today’s most formidable environmental challenges: the removal and destruction of perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, from wastewater.
