While many of us are used to idling while we wait as a train passes by, in line at the end of a school day or in the morning to heat our vehicles up, the habit creates more smog and emissions than actually stopping and restarting the engine does. We look into how much idling cars contributes to climate change, and talk to experts about alternatives.
