Fifteen years ago today, Shelly Engelhardt, her daughter Amanda and son Jeff experienced an unimaginable tragedy when Amanda’s then-boyfriend – in a jealousy-fueled attack – stabbed to death three Engelhardt family members in their Hoffman Estates home.
