The study would determine a “preferred preservation approach” for the design of the Promontory Point Shoreline Protection Project with the U.S. Army Corps, according to a news release from U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly, who represents Illinois’ 2nd Congressional District, who called the point “beautiful.”
