Illinois is one of just 16 states where at least 20% of vaccine-eligible children have received at least one dose, according to figures from federal health agencies. The data show 198,909 children ages 12 through 17 have received at least one dose of the vaccine, while 73,222 of them are considered fully vaccinated.
