The state administered 59,748 coronavirus vaccine doses Sunday, reaching a total of 2,211,700, health officials reported Monday. Difficulty in securing vaccination appointments continues, worsened by last week’s delay in federal vaccine shipments caused by the extreme cold and winter weather. Some eligible Illinoisans have turned to social media groups for help.
