Vince DeMarco, Grayslake Central, freshman, 106: Finished fourth in 2A. Went 45-9.
Seth Digby, Lake Forest, senior, 157: Finished second in 2A. Went 41-3.
Ilia Dvoriannikov, Vernon Hills, sophomore, 165: Finished second in 2A. Went 32-7.
Gavin Hanrahan, Antioch, junior, 120: Finished third in 2A. Went 41-8.
Matty Jens, Grayslake Central, senior, 175: Defeated Rock Island’s Amare Overton by technical fall to win the 2A state title, one year after winning the 2A state title at 182. Went 41-1.
Matt Kubas, Libertyville, senior, 175: Finished fourth in 3A. Went 39-5.
Mark Martinez, Deerfield, senior, 144: Finished fourth in 2A. Went 32-5.
Owen McGrory, Libertyville, senior, 215: Finished fourth in 3A. Went 45-5.
Caleb Noble, Warren, freshman, 106: Defeated Rockton Hononegah’s Rocco Cassioppi in a 6-5 decision to win the 3A state title. Went 42-3.
Gavin Rockey, Wauconda, junior, 106: Finished second in 2A. Went 41-10.
Aaron Stewart, Warren, sophomore, 157: Defeated Mount Carmel’s Eddie Enright in a 5-2 decision to win the 3A state title. Went 43-2.
