Knicks vs. Bulls analysis
The Bulls didn’t help themselves by losing at home on Monday to the Hawks, which came one day after surprising the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Knicks erased a 21-point deficit in Thursday’s 120-109 home victory over the Sacramento Kings to pull into tie for fourth place in the Eastern Conference with the Orlando Magic.
Former Villanova stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart combined for 66 points against the Kings to help New York snap a three-game slide.
The Bulls have slumped to a 2-5 record in their last seven games since winning back-to-back games over the Trail Blazers and Wizards.
In the first matchup at Madison Square Garden in early January, the Knicks took care of the Bulls, 116-100, as eight-point favorites. New York outscored Chicago by 20 points in the second half, led by Julius Randle’s 35 points.
The Knicks are playing with no rest for only the second time since the All-Star break; the first time resulted in a home loss to the Pelicans, 115-92, on Feb. 27.
Knicks vs. Bulls pick
The Bulls have been inconsistent all season, but this is a spot where they will be motivated to bounce back off a shaky performance against the Hawks.
Let’s back Chicago at plus money to cover the short spread against the Knicks.
