A jewelry store in the 500 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville was robbed, with the items taken being valued at about $150,000. The person who committed the robbery looked at jewelry in the store for about 30 minutes, then showed a note to an employee that implied he had a weapon. He took the items he was looking at, and left.
