Man, 33, fatally wounded overnight in drive-by shooting on Far South Side

A 33-year-old man was pronounced dead after being wounded overnight in a drive-by shooting in the Roseland neighborhood, Chicago police said.

About 1 a.m. Saturday, the victim was standing outside in the 200 block of West 105th Place when he was shot by someone traveling in a white vehicle, police said.

He was taken with a gunshot wound to the chest to Roseland Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
