Chicago police responded to a traffic accident Wednesday night that killed a 45-year-man and injured two other victims in the West Pullman neighborhood.
Shortly before midnight, officers were called to a two vehicle accident in the 11900 block of South Ashland Avenue where a silver SUV and a black sedan collided.
A 40-year-old who was an occupant of the SUV was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and listed in fair condition. A 45-year-old man who was in the black sedan was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A 27-year-old woman, also an occupant of the sedan, was also taken to the same hospital where she was listed in critical condition.
There are no citations pending in the crash, and detectives were investigating.
