A 53-year-old man’s condition was stabilized Thursday morning after his roommate stabbed him during a fight at their residence in the Calumet Heights neighborhood on the South Side, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 8:15 a.m., the victim was involved in a fight with his 32-year-old roommate who stabbed him multiple times to the body in the 9100 block of South Bennett Avenue, police said.
The victim was taken ti critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition was stabilized, police said.
Police said the stabbing appears to be domestic-related, and no one was in custody.
Detectives are investigating.
