A 59-year-old man was stabbed to death Saturday afternoon inside a Hegewisch home on the Far South Side, according to Chicago police.
The man was inside a residence in the 13300 block of South Avenue M when a “known offender” pulled out a sharp object and stabbed him in the neck and back at about 4:18 p.m., police said.
The victim, whose identity hasn’t yet been released, was pronounced dead at the home, police said.
A suspect was taken into custody, and charges were pending, police said.
