A man was found unresponsive with burns to his body overnight at a CTA Red Line Station at 69th Street, Chicago police said.
About 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, a man in his 30s was seen jumping off the platform and falling making contact with the third rail. He was found unresponsive with burns to the body in the first block of West 69th Street, police said.
He was taken in critical condition to UChicago Medicine.
Detectives were investigating.
