Man critically wounded Tuesday night in shooting on South Side

A 24-year-old man was seriously wounded Tuesday night in a shooting in the Bronzeville neighborhood, Chicago police said.

About 11:35 p.m., the man was walking in the 4300 block of South Wabash Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain. He ran to his residence and called police.

The man was taken with wounds to the neck and right leg to UChicago Medicine where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
