Niles police responded to a report Sunday evening at about 9:08 p.m. and discovered a male victim on the ground in the area of Harlem and Chase Avenues with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a news release.
After being taken to a local hospital, the man was pronounced dead, police said.
The Niles Police Department said it is working with the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force (NORTAF) on an active investigation and no suspects are in custody.
