Man shot with paintball gun on CTA bus Monday night in Lincoln Park

A 38-year-old man was shot several times to the back of the head with a paintball gun after an argument on a CTA bus Monday night in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.

About 9:35 p.m., the victim was a passenger on a CTA bus in the 1300 block of West Fullerton Avenue when an argument broke out with another passenger. The second passenger pulled out a paintball gun and struck the victim several times to the back of the head, Chicago police said.

The victim was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was listed in fair condition.

No one was in custody.
