A man was injured in a shooting in the Austin neighborhood early Saturday morning near a car with off-duty cops inside, according to Chicago police.
The man, 26, was inside a parked vehicle in the 1000 block of South Mayfield Avenue with four other people, including two off-duty Chicago police officers. When he exited the car just before 1:30 a.m., a gunman in another vehicle shot him, police said.
