Maywood man fatally injured in Grayslake-area motorcycle crash

A Maywood man was fatally injured Friday when he apparently lost control of his motorcycle and crashed in the Grayslake area, according to the Lake County Coroner’s Office.

Authorities identified the man as 62-year-old Adolfo Rosario.

Rosario was riding his Suzuki motorcycle at a high rate of speed at about 5:20 p.m. Friday when he failed to negotiate a curve near the intersection of Illinois Route 83 and Route 137. He was brought to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville with critical injuries and was pronounced dead.

An autopsy showed the cause of death was consistent with crash injuries, the coroner’s office said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
