Lillian Barnes puts up 15 points, seven rebounds, five assists and five steals as the Vikings top Crown Point for their second straight sectional title.

3. Merrillville 17-9 (6)

Malika Jenkins contributes 14 points, four assists and four steals in the Pirates’ win against Hammond Central in the sectional semifinals.

4. Hammond Central 19-6 (3) 

The trio of Aniyah Henry, Kennedy Blakely and Indiah Hutchinson helps propel the Wolves to the sectional semifinals.

5. Marquette 21-4 (4)

Livia Balling records six points and seven rebounds as the Blazers win a sectional title by defeating Triton.

6. Munster 18-5 (7)

Gracyn Gilliard goes for 28 points, six rebounds and seven steals as the Mustangs test Lake Central in a sectional opener.

7. Chesterton 16-8 (5) 

Ciara Bonner registers a season-high 20 points against Valparaiso in a sectional opener, the final game for Trojans coach Jack Campbell after 36 seasons.

8. Crown Point 15-11 (8)

Ava Ziolkowski ends her record-setting season, and her Crown Point career, with 15 points and six rebounds against Valparaiso.

9. Andrean 12-14 (10)

Lindsay Arcella nets a career-high 23 points, nine rebounds, three assists and five steals against Lake Station in the sectional semifinals on the 59ers’ way to their fifth consecutive title.

10. Hanover Central 17-7 (NR)

Sienna Stilley ties a career high with 13 points and adds six rebounds as the Wildcats edge Highland for their first sectional title since 2015.

Player of the Week

Sophomore guard Laniah Davis records 30 points, nine rebounds and seven steals as Marquette tops Triton 52-39 on Saturday and wins its first sectional title since 2019, the year of its second straight Class 1A state championship.
