Democrat Michael Vijuk is one of five candidates running for two seats on McHenry County Board District 1 in the Nov. 8 general election. The other candidates are Republicans Matthew M. Kunkle and Tom Wilbeck, Libertarian Kenneth Martin Mattes, and Democrat Theresa Meshes.
