After years of facing inertia, advocates of a new regional trail through central DuPage County have been steadily gaining momentum. As envisioned, the north-south corridor would follow the east branch of the DuPage River, tying together other major trails, linking several forest preserves and eventually providing car-free access to the Morton Arboretum.
