Naperville man killed in crash at 103rd Street/Book Road T-intersection

A Naperville man was killed Monday night after the car he was driving went through a T-intersection, crashed through a fence and landed on its roof, Naperville police said.

Patrick M. Larkin, 59, was driving a 2008 Infiniti G35 eastbound on 103rd Street about 9:35 p.m. when he failed to stop at the Book Road intersection and went into residential back yard, a police department news release said. His vehicle ended up about 100 feet from the T-intersection.

Larkin was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased, the release said.

Reconstruction specialists evaluated the scene and a crash investigation is underway, police said.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the police department’s traffic unit at 630-420-8833.
